I drive by here every day on the way home from work and never knew that they were here! I usually get my Primal raw cat food at Meat on burnside..but they are far and sometimes I am not able to get to them.  I saw the sign and spontaneously walked in. They do sell Primal and were friendly and also give a free bag after the 12th bag!  I found a new “go to” cat store!! Whoo hoo! My cat is almost 18 years old and loves this food…They were very kind and informative and I will definitely be frequenting them now.  Very happy with them and the overall experience!!    I value great customer service….and they definitely went above and beyond what I expected. I cannot believe I hadn’t been by before!

I went into the store on Friday and Sam was AWESOME! He approached us right away, picked up my new Golden puppy, Augustus and was very engaging. I explained that I know ZERO about Goldens and dogs in general but Sam walked with me through the store and was very knowledgeable and helpful. The first time I went into this store last year, I was just kinda “meh” about it but this visit was such a positive experience that we’ll only go to this store from now on. And I love being able to help the local community : )

Oh and he also recommended this really amazing cat scoop… Seven bucks was well worth it!!

All of my experiences for the past six months at their new location on Highway 43 have been good. After years in their original location (closer to my home), I’m happy to make the drive across town to Healthy Pet for the best selection of dog products.

By my count there are three other options in town, all of them modern and upscale, but two focus on services (boarding and grooming) and the other primarily carries food (of the organic variety), but not many toys and accessories.

They are still small in size compared to a big box pet store, but they carry many products from local companies. My experience (over 5 years as a customer) hasn’t always been smooth, but I’m happy to continue giving them a try.
